Starring Jason Momoa, Marlow Barkley, Chris O’Dowd, Kyle Chandler
When I saw the trailer for this movie I thought looked like a fun movie. Released on November 18th on Netflix, comes this fantasy-adventure film based on a comic strip named Little Nemo in Slumberland.
The story follows Nemo who lives with her father in a lighthouse. Everything in her life changes when her father dies and she goes to live with an uncle she never met. One night in her dreams she meets Flip who tells her about Slumberland and how she can see her father again by finding some pearls in Slumberland.
I have to say that I loved the movie. I found a family film with a deep story and yet it was funny and had a lot of adventure in it. The visuals were also very good and filled with imagination. I dreaded the fact that I felt two hours was too long but I did not feel it because I was enjoying the film.
Jason Momoa was good as flip, it was a good character and he seemed to have fun playing it. The film has a good cast and all make the movie work.
So far this is the best family movie of this year. I felt it was fun and with a deep story worth watching.
