Directed by Babak Anvari
Starring George MacKay, Kelly McDonald, Hugh Bonneville
I saw the trailer for the movie and it looked interesting. The film stars George MacKay who also starred in Wolf a movie I just saw the other day.
The story premise is about Toby. He and his friend enter elite people’s houses and paint graffiti on their houses as a protest against social injustice. In one house he enters he discovers something sinister that unravels a chain of events that harms his family and friends.
I think this is a movie where the less you know the better. I ended with mixed feelings about the movie. I liked the movie, it had a lot of suspense and the story was good enough to keep you interested. It had some predictable things but other times it went a different way than what I predicted in my mind. It had a good villain, but it lacked a good hero. I was disappointed by the end, I don’t want to say why because I don’t want to spoil the movie for anyone.
The performances were good but it’s Hugh Bonneville’s performance that stands out. He plays the role of the villain perfectly for what the film required.
I think overall the film is entertaining and even with a few flaws, the movie works as a good thriller.
