Chip N’ Dale Rescue Rangers (2022)

Directed by Akiva Shaffer

Starring John Mulaney, Andy Samberg, Will Arnet, Eric Bana, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen, J.K. Simons

I have a lot of memories of many Disney animated shows like Darkwing Duck, Duck Tales among others. Chip N’ Dale rescue rangers are one show I remember but not because I used to see it, I just remember the show. At first, I thought they bringing back the two characters in a series but soon found it was a film and that it was getting good reviews so I decided to see it.

The story begins as we see how Chip and Dale meet and become tv stars. After Dale decides to do a solo project, Chip leaves and they stop speaking to each other as their shows got canceled. 30 years later they reunite to find their friends who are taken by a criminal gang named Valley Gang. The two must reconnect with each other and find their friend.

As I said before, I was not a fan of the show but I must admit I found the film to be entertaining. I liked the story and that it was not under the formula of the tv show, even if in the end they were solving a case. I like all the references to characters popular, and cultural icons like He-Man to name a few.

It is a funny film that you can enjoy with the family.
