Directed by Jon Amiel
Starring Sigourney Weaver, Holly Hunter, Dermot Mulroney, Will Patton, Harry Connick Jr.
This is a film that I have not seen in years. Sometimes is good to revisit a film you know you saw but remember nothing from it. This was the case for me with this film.
The story starts as Dr. Helen Hunter gives a lecture at a University about the psychology of serial Killers and then she is attacked by one, making her scared to leave the house. Later when a new serial killer is suspected to be attacking the area, the detectives ask for Hudson’s help.
What a great film. The film is so well-written and directed. It is intriguing and has a lot of suspense. I liked the game being played by the killer and the investigation of his identity, that gave the film an extra suspenseful factor, or made it more interesting as you wanted to see how they could reach his identity.
Weaver gives a great performance as well as Holly Hunter. Connick Jr. gave a chilling performance as one of the killers.
This is an old movie but I think remains interesting and entertaining and if you like this sort of film, I think you will enjoy it.
