Directed by Steven Soderbergh
Starring Don Cheadle, Benicio del Toro, Kieran Culkin, Jon Hamm, Brendan Frasier
I came into this movie without any knowledge about the film. I had no idea what the movie was about. And not a fan of all Soderbergh films, I was interested based on the cast of actors involved.
The film centers around a document that contains sensitive information about a company and someone hires a group of people to form a plan and get it back. The plan goes wrong and Ronald and Curtis now need to form their plan to get their money.
Like I said I went in not knowing about the film and what I found was an interesting crime thriller based on the 1950s, with that I mean it has this classic movie style. I thought the movie was a good story. It felt like a rollercoaster ride where so many characters wanted the same thing. The film has a lot twist and turns, you don’t know what to expect from these characters.
The cast is one of the best things the film has. Starting with the two main characters played by Don Cheadle and Benicio del Toro. Ray Liotta and Matt Damon have small roles but they are good in the movie. It was good to see Brendan Fraser on film again.
Me that I don’t love all of Soderbergh’s films, I have to say I liked this one.
