Bob Dylan Bringing it all back home (1965)

Produced Tom Wilson

This in my opinion is the album that served as a preview of where Dylan was going next. As if he wanted to prepare his fans, he delivered an album with one side electric and the other side acoustic similar to his previous albums. No matter where you stand on him going electric, this is a great album.

As I listen to the album I feel like the first side has good songs with the last three that to me was not his best. But Subterranean Homesick blues is a great opening track with so many great lines. Love minus zero/no limit is one of my favorite songs of Dylan, I love the words and the music so much and Dylan’s delivery.

The second side is classic from the first track to the last. Mr. Tamborine man is a classic song with beautiful lyrics. It’s alright Ma ( I’m only bleeding) is a lyrical masterpiece and It’s all over now a beautiful love song.

Safe to say that this album started a great trilogy of classic Dylan records. I admire artists like Dylan and The Beatles who were not afraid to leave their comfort zones and produce different music.
