Directed by Miguel Arteta
Starring Jennifer Gardner, Édgar Ramírez, Jenna Ortega
This film was recommended to me by a co-worker who said it was a good family film and I always try to look for this kind of film to see at home with my family, so I was good to have the option and gather my family and see the film.
The film is about the Torres family. At first, Allison and Carlos were adventurous people who said yes to everything until they became parents and started saying no to everything their kids wanted to do. When they are called by the school because the two older kids expressed their feeling about how they feel about everything being a no. They meet another parent that gives them the idea of granting the kids a say where they have to say yes to every request.
I have to say I enjoyed the movie. We all laughed and had a good time and that is the purpose of the film. I thought the story was good and as a parent relatable. But the main thing for me was that it was a fun movie.
What worked for me was the chemistry between the actors, they felt like a real family and the kids were good in their performance, which usually does not happen.
So I recommend it as a family film, you can enjoy it with your kids.
