There are movies that you remember fondly and for me, the ’80s are filled with a lot of films that I remember. This film is one of them.
The story is about Chris. Her big date is canceled and she gets stuck babysitting. When her best friend runs away from home she calls her to go and pick her up in the city. Chris goes with the kids and sorts of trouble find them.
I can’t say that this film is a masterpiece. But as I watched it again I sure had fun seeing it. The situations are typical of that era. It does not make sense sometimes but it just makes you laugh and have fun. The story is simple, is about the unfortunate luck these set of characters face in order to get back before the parents get home.
It has a good cast, featuring Elizabeth Shoe and a bunch of actors that became famous later or appeared in other known films.
If you are in the mood for a fun movie in the style of Home Alone, you might enjoy this film.
