There are a few shows that I can compare to this one. It not my favorite show of all time but it has to admit this show achieved something really rare.
The show follows the lives of nerd scientist Leonard, Sheldon, Howard, and Raj. They meet their new neighbor Penny and she becomes their friend and shows them another side of the world away. Through the seasons’ new people enter their inner circle as they grow together.
Lasting for 12 seasons, the show achieved longevity without losing its touch. The stories remained true to the original concept while moving the characters forward. Even Friends that are one of the best shows ever lost something toward the end in terms of storylines. I did not feel that with this show, each season got better and ended in a great way.
I will be honest, I know Sheldon is the main character but I found him so annoying honestly but that can only count as praise for the great work Jim Parsons did with this character right from the start. And I liked that even though the show seemed to center a lot on Sheldon, each character had a lot of great moments in the show, not like other shows where a. The character works and they just focus on him. The whole cast is great and they all had good chemistry together. I loved the character of Leonard’s mother played brilliantly by Christine Baranski. The show had a lot of great famous stars appear on the show.
I just finished watching the whole 12th seasons and I loved the show. I am impressed that it lasted that long and yet remaining funny. The show has a lot of heart behind the funny moments and humor.
