Directed by Christine Jeffs
Starring Emily Blunt, Amy Adams, Alan Arkin
I wanted to see this movie for a long time and I finally got round to seeing it. At the time it was released I have heard good reviews for the film so when I saw that it was available on Amazon Prime I decided to see it.
The story is mainly about the two sisters. Rose is a single mother working for a maid service and has a kid who is hyper and got kicked out of school. She is having an affair with a married man and he gives her the idea of going into a crime scene clean up so she could afford private school for her son. She goes into business with her sister Norah to help her and they both find success in their new business.
The movie has a lot of charm to it. It has a nice story that will make you laugh and cry. The funny parts are as they start cleaning those crime scenes and the moving scenes involve the sisters and their relationship.
Amy Adams and Emily Blunt are very good in the movie. Alan Arkin gives a great performance though it felt familiar to the character he brilliantly played on Little Miss Sunshine.
It is a good film to see, if you enjoy a good drama film, even if it has funny parts, it is mostly drama.
