The sequel to the huge hit The Avengers brings back Marvel’s elite together again.
The story begins with our heroes on Sokovia where there is a facility that is conducting experiments on humans using Loki’s scepter. There they face Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, two brothers that were used for the tests. Tony and Banner use the gem to develop Ultron, a global defense program. Ultron decides to eliminate humanity and escapes with the scepter to improve his body and make an army. Tony finds that J.A.R.V.I.S is hiding on the internet and transport him to a body and Vision is born bearing one of the Infinity Stones. Vision, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch join the rest of the group to fight Ultron.
This is a very effective sequel, it kept what worked in the first one and made it better. One thing that really works is the chemistry between the cast, they really work well together and by now they all have made the characters theirs. The addition of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch was good, I think with Quicksilver it was hard not to copy what was done with the character on the X-men films, but they did it differently so both were cool. The story was interesting and the action was better than the first, we get to see them in action from the beginning.
